Charles P. Coen OBITUARY

Msgr. Charles P. Coen on December 26, 2024. Born in Woodford, Co. Galway, Ireland. He is predeceased by Paddy, Jack, Michael, Annie (Cissie) O’Malley, and Margaret King. He will be dearly missed by his surviving siblings May (Sister Concepta), Betty (Sister Patrice), and Anthony (wife, Mary); sister-in-law Julia Coen, brother-in-law Martin O’Malley, his 26 nieces and nephews and their families. Special mention is made of his close friend and caretaker Eileen Condon. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 29 from 3:00 – 7:00 at Hodder Farenga FH 899 McLean Ave., Yonkers, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 30 at 11:00 AM at the Cardinal O’Connor Clergy Residence, 5655 Arlington Ave, Bronx, NY. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Catholic Relief Services.
