Gabriel O’Brien OBITUARY

Brother Gabriel O’Brien, O.S.F., Superior General of the Franciscan Brothers of Brooklyn, passed from this life suddenly on December 31, 2024. He was the son of the late Lillian and F. Edward O’Brien and the second of eight children. He was a beloved brother to Edward, Kevin (deceased), Patricia, Robert, Ann, Joan and Dennis and the Franciscan Brothers. Visitation: Friday, January 3, 2025, 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM. Wake Service 5:30 PM. Our Lady of Angels Friary, 344 – 73rd Street, Brooklyn, NY, 11209. Funeral Mass: Saturday, January 4, 2025, 10:00 AM. Our Lady of Angels Church, 7320 – 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, 11209. Interment: Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, Long Island, New York.
