At least 15 people are dead and dozens more injured after a driver intentionally drove a pickup truck into a crowd celebrating the New Year on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, La. early Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025. The suspect, identified as Shamsud-Din Jabbar, 42, a U.S. citizen from Texas, is dead following a shootout with police. The attack is being investigated as an 'act of terrorism' by the FBI.
