Meghan Markle and Prince Harry might be one step closer to living in La La land.

The couple is reportedly looking into establishing residence closer to Hollywood as they look for properties in Los Angeles according to TMZ.

Meghan and Harry have decided against a home in Malibu and are now eyeing various neighborhoods in L.A., the outlet’s sources say.  The royal couple currently have a home in Montecito, which is over 90 miles from Los Angeles, making it harder to attend Hollywood events.

This news comes after rumors of Markle’s Hollywood comeback. She told Variety earlier this month at the Power of Women celebration in Los Angeles that she want to create “Things that make people feel — I was going say ‘good,’ but it’s more than that, things that make people feel something, right? And feel a sense of community.”

The royal teased that they had “so many exciting things on the slate. I can’t wait until we can announce them, but I’m just really proud of what we’re creating. My husband is loving it, too. It’s really fun.”

This wouldn’t be the first time the couple has lived in the Los Angeles area, as they revealed in their Netflix documentary, “Meghan and Harry”. In 2020, Meghan and Harry lived in Tyler Perry’s mansion for weeks in Beverly Ridge Estates, a time Harry described as “bliss”.

“No one knew we were there. We were there for six weeks, and no one knew.” Harry revealed in the doc. “My family still thought I was in Canada.”

Sources say privacy and community are their top priorities as they look for a home.
